"O" is a talented photographer in her late twenties with a promising career ahead of her. She is torn, however, between the tasks financial realities are forcing upon her and between her own artistic aims. Encouraged by her boyfriend, Rene, "O" decides that she should pursue her artistic passion without reservation, setting aside financial realities until she has completed her very beautiful, avant-garde book of original photos. In hopes of enabling "O" to focus her energies on the book, Rene introduces her to a mysterious benefactor, the wealthy and powerful Sir Stephen. What starts out as a promising arrangement, turns out to be self-destructive for "O". 在天眼尚未密布，监场保安仍会打瞌睡的二十世纪七十年代，名画大盗就是会光天化日，大剌剌走进美术馆，直接把猎物从墙上取下放入布袋运走。看似儿戏的一切，背后主谋还要是住在市郊、人畜无害的住家男人。凯莉·莱卡特完全弃用好莱坞盗宝片叙事公式，改以其擅长的左翼简约主义镜头，捕捉触犯艺术罪行者的日常生活、双面人的言行处境，以及事件周遭人情冷暖。阿瑟多夫的抽象画作未必是一个借口，但到头来凸显存在荒谬的公路逃亡，俨然为观众添加了不少欣赏和思考的层次。
诚聘保姆
美丽少女安吉•阿尔布莱特（莎拉•汤普森 Sarah Thompson 饰）独自到位于偏远山区小镇的亚当斯学院求学。这里看似安宁，却是个地道的危险所在，一段时间内不断传出女孩失踪并被杀害的消息。某天，安吉在学校布告栏看到招聘保姆的通知。为了赚取生活费，她前往通知上所写的农庄应聘。雇主是年轻的史丹顿夫妇吉姆（布鲁斯•托马斯 Bruce Thomas 饰）和瓦尔莉特（Kristen Dalton 饰），他们即将参加农场举行的集会，因此招聘保姆照看他们年幼的儿子山姆（凯伊•卡斯特 Kai Caster 饰）。应聘当夜，山姆很早上床睡觉，安吉则独自一人看书，这一晚似乎平静轻松。但随之后来的一系列事件随即引起安吉的恐慌：默不作声的骚扰电话、不断撞击的房门、沉默冷静的山姆、经常尾随安吉的神秘男子。这一切的背后，仿佛隐藏着更为恐怖的秘密……
