　　一场车祸后，林月家里怪事连连，全身冰冷的姐姐，镜子里看不见家人的身影，黑夜里爸爸窥探的双眼，每天凌晨阁楼传来的弹珠声，林月循声而上，当阁楼的门被打开，却发现里面紧锁的却是自己的遗像……

好像一切都很糟糕

Ayşe, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble. 致命玩笑2

　凯拉（劳拉·乔丹 Laura Jordan 饰）、梅丽莎（尼姬·埃克斯 Nicki Aycox 饰）、鲍比（尼克·扎诺 Nick Zano 饰）和尼克（凯尔·施密德 Kyle Schmid 饰）等四个年轻人正驱车前往拉斯维加斯，准备参加那里举行的聚会。他们的车载半路抛锚，四人寻求帮助时在荒野找到一座空无一人的房子，继而在仓库里找到一辆跑车。经过一番讨论，他们决定留下联系方式，暂时把车开走，并负责赔偿车主的损失。                                                                    　　然而他们的想法过于天真，这辆汽车的主人正是恐怖的锈钉（马克·吉本 Mark Gibbon 饰），凯拉等人破门而入和偷走汽车的行为彻底惹恼了他，锈钉的疯狂狩猎也随即展开。凯拉等人命悬一线…
