爱人的欺骗

Ayşe, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.  本片是同一故事第三度重拍的版本。此片将好莱坞的背景改成今日的摇滚乐坛，男主角原是着名的摇滚乐歌手，而女主角则在小型夜总会卖艺。影片中有不少热门插曲，部分片段的镜头和表演都不俗，但整体则显得有点矫揉造作，角色欠缺真正的生命感，不过娱乐性还是维持相当水准。本片曾获奥斯卡最佳电影插曲金像奖。

一名19岁的罪犯汤米（Tommy）被一对功能失调的夫妇克里斯（Chris）和凯瑟琳（Kathryn）绑架，并被迫接受他们的“改造计划”，试图将他塑造成一个“好男孩”。汤米必须设法逃脱。
